A multipurpose workstation running a power monitor client
This multipurpose workstation is used primarily for software
development. It is also used to monitor operations in the L'Monte power
center.
From here, we can monitor output from the solar
panels or generators, the changing charge state of the battery bank
and other system parameters. Visual alarms alert the
operator to exception conditions such as battery voltage outside of
preset limits.
That's a sketch of the solar power system as it currently
exists. But there is much more to do...
